My website is not index in Bing but index in Google
First of all, we will check whether the website is indexed in Bing or not, for that first go to your Bing Webmaster Tools Dashboard and click on Dashboard > URL Inspection. Now enter the URL of your site in the given box and click on Inspect.
If no error appears in your URL, then after that check the URL of the website in Bing browser. The way to check is this (site:https://example.com). If your website does not appear there, it means that your website is not indexed in Bing.
If in Webmaster Tools “The inspected URL is known to Bing but has some issues which are preventing indexation. We recommend you to follow Bing Webmaster Guidelines to increase your chances of indexation.” If the error is coming, it means that there is an error in your site that does not follow the guidelines of Bing.
To fix both the above errors, first of all, we will check if there is any error in our website.
- Check your website’s robots.txt file.
- Check <meta name=”robots” content=”NOINDEX”>.
- Check that there is no URL block in Bing Webmaster Tools.
